How to photograph your car
A clear source photo helps us create the best possible result.
- Make sure the entire car is visible.
- Use a sharp, high-resolution photo.
- Photograph the car in good, even light.
- Avoid heavy shadows, strong reflections and image filters.
- Avoid people or objects covering parts of the vehicle.
- Choose a viewing angle similar to the examples where possible.
- Use the original image rather than a screenshot or compressed social-media copy.
If the submitted photo is not suitable, we may ask you for another image before starting the artwork.

Photo and image rights
The quality and accuracy of the illustration depend on the visibility and quality of the submitted photo. Please only submit a photo you took yourself or have permission from the rights holder to use. Do not use images copied from websites, social media, photographers or other third parties without the necessary permission.
Independent artwork
Mapamoli creates independent, customer-requested artwork from customer-supplied photos. Vehicle manufacturers, brand names and logos belong to their respective owners. Mapamoli is not affiliated with, authorised by, sponsored by or endorsed by any vehicle manufacturer. Visible brand marks, badges and other protected elements may be simplified, altered or omitted where appropriate.
A stylised interpretation
The finished artwork is a stylised Mapamoli interpretation of the submitted vehicle. It is not intended to be a technically exact or photorealistic reproduction. Small details, colours and proportions may be adapted to suit the illustration style, composition and printable format.
Approval and production
You will see the complete artwork before approval. Production begins only after you approve the final design. A personalised product is made specifically for you using your submitted photo and approved artwork. Different cancellation or return conditions may apply; this does not affect your statutory rights in the event of defects, damage or an incorrect product.
Privacy and optional sharing
Uploaded photos and submitted information will be used only to create, communicate about and produce a personalised order. They will not be published as examples, advertising or social-media content without separate, voluntary permission. Read our Privacy Policy.
